I was a patient in both the emergency room and on floor 4A. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the personnel who took such excellent care of me and of my wife during my time at the hospital.
Everyone, from the admitting clerk in the ER to the PSWs, cleaners, nurses, doctors and volunteers on the floor, treated us with the greatest kindness, respect and compassion.
Not once were we left in doubt about my treatment; every concern was answered. Not once did I hear “That isn’t my job” or “I’ll get your nurse”. The staff on 4A worked as a real team in my care.
And it was a pleasure to have the volunteers visiting with us and to have our faith cared for by a member of the hospital’s pastoral care group. We are indeed fortunate to have such a great institution as the Montfort and its caring staff in our community. Than you to everyone from the bottom of our hearts!
