I am writing to commend the staff at Montfort for the care I was given March 11/12 after my TURP.
To begin, the nurses and orderlies who checked me in were warm, efficient and put me at ease.
My doctor, Dr. Carrier, was caring, gentle and, even, funny. He inspires confidence, which as a patient is a great tonic.
The staff at the Recovery Room, where I spent the night because the Step Down Unit was full, was also wonderful. I especially commend Nathalie Charbonneau, who cared for me during the night.
Having an operation is no fun and can be very scary. Your staff did everything it could to put me at ease and attend to my needs.
